Currently, both parents are forced to work due to the high cost of living. However, they still have to take care of their babies, adding to the workload and stress. Working parents cannot always take care of their children. They either send their babies to their parents or hire a babysitter while they work. Some parents do not want to hire a guardian because of safety concerns and expense. So, to solve these problems, an IOT-based baby monitoring and automatic swing system that can monitor the baby's condition in real time is proposed. Objectives: 1. To design a prototype of a smart cradle, where it will focus on monitoring the vital functions (cry detection, odor detection, etc...) of the child based on the data obtained from the sensors. 2. Monitor the child's activities and health using appropriate sensors. 3. Develop a mobile app that sends notifications to parents with a Baby Message condition that helps detect baby activity and track accordingly.
